Meals That Ground Me: A Week of Nourishing Dishes

Before I write, plan, or create, I cook. Because eating well is how I remind my body I care.


Here’s what grounded me this week:

  • Sunday: Bone broth miso soup with rice noodles, bok choy, and medium poached egg. A hug in a bowl.


  • Monday: Roasted veggie bowl with tahini dressing. Sweet potatoes, zucchini, red onion. Earthy and bright.


  • Tuesday: Coconut curry lentils over jasmine rice. It tasted like home.


  • Wednesday: Kale Caesar with crispy chickpeas and avocado. Crunchy, creamy, craveable.


  • Thursday: Leftover curry (again). Always better the next day.


  • Friday: Seared salmon with lemon butter and wild rice. Grown woman dinner.


  • Saturday: Matcha pancakes with almond butter and berries. A soft start.


I don’t eat perfectly. I eat presently. That’s the meal plan.
